It took me 37 minutes to figure out how to re-log into my blog and to remember how to post an entry.. 37 minutes. I had intended to keep this blog up to date to the best of my ability, but that obviously did not go as planned. It's been a month and half now since I've moved to Georgia and it is so different here. It is no longer "hello" when greeting a customer at work its "yes ma'am" or "yes sir" accented with a southern drawl of course. I find it so amazing how quickly I acquired a thick southern accent. I haven't posted in so long because I thought I couldn't find anything to say, but then when I really thought about it I decided I could easily write an entry about this move. Now that I am on my own I feel like I have the authority to give advice to those younger and still living with their parents, and that would be to be careful when moving out. Be very careful. Give first, save second, and live off the rest (props to Athens Church for that one). I do not regret moving out on my own in the slightest, but I do wish it has been an easier adventure. I cannot count how many times I have had to call the main office about things that have gone wrong in this apartment; please keep in mind I have only lived here a month and a half. We can start with the sink not draining properly, then there was a sliding door that was broken, my front door needed its weather strips replaced (that one took two calls because they didn't complete the job the first time), and don't get me started on the roaches. They're gone now but I have gnats and those may be just as bad. I am sleeping in a bed of bug spray tonight. Another thing, when moving out never settle. Be sure to get a high end place that will take care of you as well as your apartment. Albeit, the staff here is nice, but the job quality just doesn't cut it. I am happy though and I love everything that is going on in my life right now. I am missing home a lot here recently and I can't wait until I can plan a visit. There's just something about being a Carolina girl that I love. More than anything I'm missing my family and my best friend. It's going to be so strange spending my birthday without them. I am excited though because I do get the day off from work and I get to spend it with the boyfriend, Joshua. <3 He has taken such great care of me since I've moved down here and I really don't know what I would have done without him. It's going to be amazing once we start our life together and moving back to Greensboro like we have planned after finishing school. I am kind of excited to go back to school. That's if everything works out with the FASFA and I get enough financial aid to even go back. But I am realizing this entry is starting to be all over the place and didn't really have a point. This blog entry took me less time to type then it took me to sign in and figure out how to type it. I'll have to work on that. Hopefully my next one will be better. Much love.

I write my first blog as I'm sitting in the UPS store where I work, constantly interrupted by customers. I suppose this is okay, since this is my job and all. I work here by myself, all by my lonesome. I made this blog because my best friend told me to. Apparently I am greatly influenced by others. I hope she finds my blog enjoyable. There's only a few more weeks until I plan to move to Georgia to live closer to my boyfriend Joshua and to work at another UPS Store. After working nearly a year at this UPS Store there are many things I have learned: Never use AT&T's services, they suck (we return their equipment all the time); people who drive Beatles usually get on my nerves; the mailman is the nicest person you will ever meet, treat him well; what can go wrong, will go wrong, always. I could probably write an entire blog entry on everything that has gone wrong while I've been working in this store and I probably will. I complain a lot about work but I adore my job. I complain a lot about customers but I love them anyways. However, whoever said "there is no such thing as a stupid question," has never worked in retail. I am probably one of the most awkward people I know. I don't even know how I get put in some of the situations I get in, but there I am. And I can't wait to blog about them! This way my best friend can read all about them while she is on her mission trip. This is pretty much the main purpose of this blog, if others find entertainment out of it then that's good too I guess. Also, if you like this, go check out http://captivatedlife.blogspot.com/ that's my bestie's page. Shoutout. Yeah, I realize now this is kinda all over the place, but I promise it will get more organized as time goes on, well maybe not, I did flunk English first semester and received a "D" second semester. I'm trying. <3
